UPDATE OCT 2023: After a move to another state, I put this up and while it’s dirtier (because duh hangs outside plus I just haven’t had time to clean it properly), it is intact and still works great! Two dogs go in and out several times a day plus me plus stuff in my arms. 10 stars.

UPDATE Oct 2020: Still going strong after 6 months! Through wind and storm and about a dozen dog/person ins and outs a day, this is hanging straight and clean. Can’t recommend it enough.

ORIGINAL: I got the white, 80x32" screen door so we could leave the sliding glass door to the deck open, allow fresh air in, the dog in and out (and in and out), and us in and out with hands full. It comes with a screen repair kit, which I found very customer-conscious.

BLUF (bottom line up front): So far, I LOVE this door. Makes life so much easier! Dog can be left alone and I can go in and out with my hands full, and the bugs and birds stay where they belong. As with anything , this screen will probably work best and last longest if it's installed with care and not abused. CAVEAT: I've had it two weeks in three major thunderstorms and an average of 10 in-and-outs a day. If something happens to change my rating, I'll come back and update.

This is the second screen I have ordered in 4 years. I have a Great Dane that barrels through the screen at top speed, which is why I’ve ordered two. It held up surprisingly well with the abuse it received. I took my door off my sunroom because my 130 lb dog would have busted right through it. She learned to go through the screen within minutes. It is very convenient because I don’t have to open the screen door for her. My sister ordered another brand of magnetic screen and the quality was not close to this one. It was thinner and tore easily. I’ve been very pleased with the performance of this screen.

I've had this thing installed back in February 2021, now its February 2024 and it's time to replace it. It served me and my dogs well for 3 summers, it allowed plenty of light and fresh air into my windowless room and effectively kept bugs out. HIGHLY recommended.

Easy install, though I didn't want to use the velcro (I think I will next time). I added three screws nearest to the middle parting because it would loosen from the top after a few passes, making the magnets be unable to draw together, so the screws kept it snug. Some of the plastic around the nails came off during use, but once the screws kept it tight, I never had a problem with it since. The screen of course got old and worn down, but a bit of tape kept it together through this last fall.

Now the screen is definitely shredded from dogs barging through over the years, but that is what I expected. Three long years of near daily use!
